I love this movie and want to get it on DVD. I was swondering how the disk is, if anyone has any thoughts please let me know.

I don't want to get stuck with it and have a big SE com out next year..

I saw this disc once and thought the quality was fine. Decent sound picture as I remember. I didn't keep it because I can't stand Baldwin. Harrison Ford is so much more believable to me in that character. If you like the movie you'll like the DVD, but I thought I heard of a deluxe Clancy box set at some point, but that could take awile.

Personally haven't seen it (on DVD). However, Widescreen Review gave it high marks for both image and sound. FYI: It is not anamorphic.

As JustinS stated...this dvd is not anamorphic but do not let this keep you from buying it!!! Great video and audio!!! Buy it!!!

Unless you just really have to get it I would wait in hope for an eventual SE. JMO

Remastered (anamorphic) editions of all the Jack Ryan movies coming next year, so save those dollar$.
