I am looking for any input on these discs in terms of video and audio quality.

I find it amazing that Gremlins is listed at anamorphic and 5.1.

Any links to existing reviews would be appreciated.

Thanks!

I haven't reviewed Gremlins, but I do have articles on all of the "Peanuts" DVDs. Here are the links:

Hope this helps!

You cannot go wrong with the Peanuts Collection.....

Buy it!!! You should have preordered this when the prices were low. Not sure if anyone is still offering low preorder prices on this item since it has been out for about one month now!!!

Oatsdad, nice reviews.

I will go out and pick up the Peanuts box
this afternoon. I don't do much online shopping anymore, so Best Buy supplies me
with most of my discs.

Thanks for the feedback.

Gremlins anyone?

The video in Gremlins is a bit dark. I might review it later this week.

The video Quality of the Peanuts collection is the best I've ever seen it look. The colors look even better than I remember them... pumkins look soooo orange.

I was just waiting for the Dolly Madison comercials....

Being a fan of Peanuts and the music of Vince Guaraldi (sp), I was very eager to get this set. I was quite dumfounded that this material is spread over three dvds. All of this material and much more could have been on one dvd. Even though the price points are quite low for the individual discs, I find this packaging troubling. The quality is about average, the audio is mixed very low for some reason. Some of the added material found on the Thanksgiving disc is quite poor in quality and concept. I should have rented first as I would then have passed on ordering this set.

No Doubt...it is almost a sin that they did not have these commercials at least as extras on this disc!!!

I remember watching these as a kid and they always ran McDonald's and York Peppermint Patty commercials during them. They really should've included the rotating CBS logo that was at the beginning of them. Just hearing that percussion takes me back.

I bought these, but haven't really watched them. I'm going to wait until it's closer to Halloween.

Great! I'll check back for your review later in the week.
