Has anyone seen this yet? Is it as good as the first one? Thanks for the input.

I wouldn't mind a review myself. I had a friend who saw it and said he liked it more than the first. It was a whole movie, not cut up into segments. That's all I know.

There are many of them. Most of them seem to be negative, complaining about a stupid and pointless plot. Others say the animation is bad and Titan AE is more of a spiritual successor to the first Heavy Metal than this one is.

However, from the IMDB listing there is a link to the official website. If you look at the many animation cels on the official website, the movie looks rather cool. The artwork looks almost on par with Titan AE.

the movie may look & may sound cool, but unfortunately, it stinks.

i saw it on the Starz channel when it premiered there & i had trouble keeping my eyes open. it is slow, dull, & the animation is nothing special.

the original had a cool soundtrack going for it and at least had some stoner appeal with a few of the story lines.

i would not recommend buying this movie sight unseen & would definitely rent it first.
