I would like to get this movie, but
would like to know about the quality of the transfer and sound as it is an old movie (1993).

I'm watching the movie now. I don't think the picture looked better when the film was released in 1933. It certainly is not perfect but given the age of the movie it is excellent. The sound is typical mono for that time as well. All in all, if you like the movie get this DVD.
