Has anyone seen this set? The U.S. Artisan/Hallmark release of Volume 1&2 is supposed to be very good, but I've heard nothing about the quality of this 6-disk set, which is selling in Canada for about $50 US.

Yes, I have the entire set. It's decent, especially considering the price, and that it's not available in the U.S. (currently only two DVDs have been released from Artisan/Hallmark - Vol 1&2 and 3&4).

It's not the greatest quality, both video and sound are a bit "loud" during Leonard Maltin's introductions, but the shorts themselves are just fine.

Again, if you're a big Our Gang fan, this is a must buy.
