Got a advance copy of this wonderful dvd... I give it a 9 out of 10. why that score? This dvd is just so damn cool. if you are a tim burton fan, you must be happy to see this one. if you arent this dvd packs it all. the animation menus are perfect. showing a book open, and unfold the castle and the magic of it all. its great. the extras include a little 20 minute or so spot light on location sort of feature. which is really sweet. has soundbites by all the folks that were part of this dvd. even danny elfman!!! whoo hoo!! the movie transfer is grand. loved it. Its a must have.

...ahhh... but is it an anamorphic transfer? does it have DD 5.1 sound?...

Anamorphic widescreen, so its only 4.0 dolby surround. but sill anamorphic indeed. great dvd indeed.
