Just rented MGMs release of The Professionals (1966). I had forgotten how good an action movie it is. Burt Lancaster, Lee Marvin, Robert Ryan, Jack Palance, Claudia Cardinale... Good western in the "Wild Bunch/Dirty Dozen" vein... Quality was fine.

The Dvd was released by Columbia Pictures, good thing it was not an MGM release otherwise it would have been Quality bad....

Yes, Columbia/TriStar released it, and it's a gorgeous transfer and good sound. This is one of the best Westerns out there and scores very high on the fun meter.

OOPS... Sorry about the MGM thing. I've been watching too many movies lately. Just saw Romeo Must Die. Wow... Great action flick.
