I haven't finished watching my Star Wars Episode 3 DVD yet. I'll post my review after I listen to the George Lucas audio commentary.

I was really stunned at the end of episode 3 when we found out that Yoda was Darth Vaders father. I also felt the love scene between Skywalker and Obi Wan should have been left out of Episode 2. It was more than I wanted to know about their relationship. The DVD quality kind of sucked, but I think it may have something to do with my space-time device not being calibrated properly.

Oh, I figured all that stuff out within 5 minutes of the first episode. What really stunned me, though, was the incest/rape scene between Skywalker and Leia. I'm glad they left that out of the theatrical release. Seeing her beat him up like that would have really diminished his character in the eyes of the filmgoing public.

Yeah, but did you catch that thing about the droids in the text based production notes section? It's burried faily deep in the 300 plus screens but I have to say that Lucas made the right decision in changing the original name from R2-Dildo to R2-D2.

Yes, according to the Director's Commentary on the disc, it was originally slated to be a porn film, then it changed. Given that, I think that the new spelling for the name "Princess 'Lay-ya'" was also a good call.
