Does anybody have the Mary Poppins Gold Collection? We have the old bare-bones version, and were wondering if the quality of the new extras justifies getting the new one.

I thought that the new "Gold Collection" was the same as the previous release (just with a new cover)... am I wrong?

someone correct me if i am wrong, but it looks like the only difference is the "making of" that is included with the new release, new cover, and silkscreened disc.

Okay, I'll resurrect this thread from the grave since I couldn't find a review for this disc in the archives. I just purchased this last night and I was wondering what people's thoughts are on it? Even though it is too late now, should I have held off on purchasing it? Is there a special edition to be made? Oh well, I could always give it to my sister or my mom and dad.

Supposedly a Special Edition is in the works for 9/04.

Where as I don't recall the barebones version having this and I did own that a few years ago. Hope this helps
