Love the movie & recently saw a screening in movie theater. But what about the DVD? I know it was an early release but can't find any reviews.

Midnight Cowboy? Okay. You know the movie so I won't go into all of that. As far as the transfer goes, it's good. It's not fantastic like a film that was made and released in the 90s, but for it's age, it looks fine. The 5.1 English Surround track is also fine, but nowhere as sweet as today's DTS soundtracks. Again, for its age and the type of picture that it is (character driven), it's fine. As far as extras, you get the orginal theatrical trailer and your choice of pan & scan or letter-boxed versions. Sorry, if you're a fan of anamorphic films--this one isn't. Also, if you're a fan of commentaries, deleted scenes, etc. you're also out of luck.
