Sounds interesting...but is it???

I can't tell you how the dvd is - the movie tho is really pretty good. Its slow in some places, but overall its a really well done movie. I'd recommend renting it tho - I don't know how many times I'd have the urge to watch it http://talk.dvdtalk.com/ubb/smile.gif

Video is very good. Sound seemed pretty good although I didn't get to try it on my 5.1 system. Extras are close to nil. Kinda steep for its price tag but if you love the movie then by all means by it.

The bane of my existence monetary wise

I thought the movie was very good, and has quite a lot of repeat value. However, it's not for everyone, so renting it first would be a good idea. The anamorphic transfer is excellent; the white, blue, and grey colour pallete is gorgeous (in a cold, depressing sort of way). The 2.0 soundtrack is fine as well.
