The Hitcher DVD has to be by far the worst video transfer I have seen!

I just watched the Hitcher DVD and this is without a doubt the worst looking video transfer I have ever seen. Not only was the picture VERY grainy but there were lines running vertical as well!
Anyone else see this DVD and did they see what I did? Check my hardware if you are curious as to what I viewed this DVD on.

It wasn't a great transfer. Oddly, though, it wasn't consistently bad...a scene would look great, then the next would look awful, then the next would look okay...

I agree, some of the scenes of desert vistas looked perfect, then it would cut to the next scene and all I would see is a grainy picture, soft, dark spots, and scan lines. It still comes nowhere close to some of the Madacy discs I've seen.
