Yup, I've seen this on VHS. It says that it came out before both "The Killer" and "Hard Boiled". I find that hard to believe.

Any reviews?

Also, available at CD Now is a VHS copy of Killers Two with CYF and Danny Lee, each playing new but similar parts as in "The Killer".

Okay here's the scoop. Back in the early 90's Hong Kong Cinema really took off in the US, particularly Jackie Chan and Chow Yun-Fat movies, so the company that releases these videos (Arena- I believe) took these actor's older Hong Kong films (which are more like cheezy exploitation flicks), slapped some cool name on it ("Hard Boiled Killers", "Killers 2", etc.), re-wrote the description of it to make you think it was a sequel or something, and sold them to unsuspecting US customers. I picked up a few of these videos for about $5 each, and I don't even know if they were worth it. The picture quality is terrible (even by VHS standards), the storylines are usually ludicrous (don't pay attention to the false descriptions on the back of the box), and most of the time the sub-titles sink below the bottom of the screen so you can't even see them. If you really want to check out some of the movies Yun-Fat did before he met John Woo and changed HK Cinema forever, then you might want to check them out; but just don't say I didn't warn you
