I was wondering if anyone could give an idea of the quality of these two movies. Should I buy, or just rent? Thank you. |
The "Random Hearts" DVD is really nice (I have a screener) with some good features, but the movie itself is bad. Though it has a good premise, the screenplay juggles some subplots that don't belong and ultimately the film sinks as a result. Additionally, I found some problems with the main storyline, but will refrain from discussing them here for those of you who haven't seen it. Bottom line: rent before you buy.
I haven't seen "Double Jeopardy." --Heather ------------------ DVD Collection That Movie Site, Editor [This message has been edited by DVDer (edited February 21, 2000).] |
Heather: how do u get setup to receive all of these screeners?
|
Jamezuva:
To receive screeners I had to contact the DVD PR folks at various studios and provide them with information about my web site (whatever info. they requested, usually site traffic stats, and most of them would evaluate the site and my reviews to ensure it would be worth their while to send me stuff). --Heather ------------------ DVD Collection That Movie Site, Editor |
Rent. Once is enough

I could only see a buy for Random Hearts if your a die hard Harrison Ford fan. Not just a fan, but a die hard fan. Otherwise, just rent it. Jason |

didn't see RH, but DJ was decent. sort of like Fugitive/US Marshalls w/ Ashley Judd on the run. worth it to see it once, especially AJ!
