Skip it, unless you have the hots for Pierce Brosnan, and can stand looking at him for 99 minutes.

Just finished watching this film and I was suprised. This is a very well constucted film. Attenborough's tone and pace are deliberate and pays off for those that are patient and willing to let the story be told. The cinematography is inspiring. The Canadian wilderness as backdrop for this film is incredibly beautiful.A quiet film with a sobering message, I would recommend it to anyone who appreciates the natural world and it's awful fate at the hands of mankind. It is also loaded with exras. I haven't watched them yet but I will. The transfer is excellent with only very minor film grain in a few low light scenes. The score is nice and resonates with the imagery. A good film in an exceptional package.
