This DVD isn't anamorphic and would like to know how the video quality is on it. I've never seen the movie either but I really like period pieces so thought I might check this one out. Would I like this if I liked Elizabeth, Dangerous Beauty and Shakespeare in Love? What does everybody think? Thanks

I used to own this DVD. The video quality is very poor. The picture is excessively soft and lacking in detail.

You will like this Jae. Excellent movie, although it has no features. Gwyenth is great as usual, and this title only cost me $3

While the movie is excellent with great actors, witty dialog, and a charming score, the DVD is pretty bad. The picture is very soft and grainy, and the sound isn't very good either. Disney did their usual crappy job. Of course, I love the movie so I have to have the DVD. I find Emma to be superior to Shakespeare in Love. Good luck!
