I just got my copy of 'Spies Like Us' and can't get the movie to play in Dolby Digital.
Looking on the back of the box: "Dolby Digital" then next to that: ENGLISH http://talk.dvdtalk.com/ubb/biggrin.gifolby Surround Stereo. What the hell does that mean? Also when on the menu screen......The only options I can highlight are 'play movie' and 'scene selection' there is a list off to the left, but can't seemed to be modified. Anyone able to get this disc in Dolby Digital? Thanks Jonathan ------------------ why my avg. is $7.36 |
what's even worse is that it's pan & scan!

The term Dolby Digital does not always mean 5.1 audio. There is even Dolby Digital mono, as featured on the Stanley Kubrick Collection DVDs. SPIES LIKE US is apparently a Dolby Digital 2.0 title. If they didn't even master a widescreen version of this title, did you really expect them to go all-out on the audio???
