I'd like to own the Stand by Steven King. Is there a version that is a must have or can I just get the plain vanilla one and be happy I saved a few $$$$. Thanks

There's no such thing as a plain vanilla version of The Stand on DVD. The only one out there is a DVD-18 (can hold the entire 6 hour mini on 1 disc!) and includes audio commentary and a few other goodies. The picture and sound quality are fine. Definitely worth getting and although expensive for a DVD ($40 retail), it is actually a bargain for the amount of material that you get.
