I hooked up my Sony DVD-S500D to my Sony STR-DE835 Dolby Digital/DTS Receiver using an optical cable. 5.1 Dvds play great as Dolby Digital (3/2). When I try a DTS DVD it plays as Dolby Digital (2/0). Does anyone have any ideas on how to get the DTS to play.

http://talk.dvdtalk.com/ubb/smile.gif I have the exact same setup... I haven't tried a DTS DVD yet though so I can't offer any insight there. I'll see if I can find a rental around and give it a spin.
