I just purchased and watched WHITE SQUALL on DVD, and I must say that is it a fantastic disc. First of all, the picture is great.. It is presented in it's widescreen format, and the transfer done for it is beautiful. The colors are rich, sharp and alive. As for the sound, equally granted a thumbs up. I listened to it using a Sony Dolby Digital receiver, and the sound is electrifying.

The extras are just your normal run of the mill stuff. Trailer, production featurette, and some reel recommendations. But if you are into a great looking, great sounding story.. This is the movie for you... Don't look for special effects, but look for real character development.. I have to say this is one of Jeff Bridges most under-rated movie...
