was this movie a stinker at the theater. is it worth getting on dvd? anyone?

I enjoyed this film. This was a different kind of role for Mel Gibson. The first scene of the movie where he is at the 'doctor', is gut wrenching and kinda hard to watch. James Coburn is funny as well. With all the cheap pre-order prices, you can't go wrong.

I pre-ordered this DVD myself without having seen it. I think it's a pretty safe gamble . . . Mel Gibson as the bad guy with a lot of violence. Anyways, most of the reviews I have seen have been positive.

Although a Paramount title, it's anamorphic and DD 5.1. With Reel having it at $14.99, use a $5 coupon and you have yourself a great deal.

This was a really bad movie, but the kind of bad movie that can be entertaining rather than annoying. I can't imagine watching it more than once, though.
