THE LAST EMPEROR: Director’s Cut!

This film takes patience and understanding.

It is history that applies today, because of
China's backdrop to the changes that occurred
at the beginning of the century.

The documentary special feature contained on
this splendid DVD gave details on how the
director and producer were able to get
China to permit shooting at some off-limit
sites . . . which may very be the LAST time
a studio got a chance!

The story and flashbacks contain so many
messages . . . it's well worth viewing it
again and again.

(And, of course, they left the original
2.35:1 widescreen aspect ratio in tact!)
