I see that the non-SE Tomorrow Never Dies DVD is on sale for $10. If you own the SE can you tell me if its worth the extra money or if I'm just as well off with the regular edition? Also, what are the main differences? Thanks in advance for the help!

I own both versions, actually all the Bonds currently on DVD http://www.dvdtalk.com/ubb/smile.gif and if you like Bond movies, I recommend the SE over the plain version. You get:

Audio Commentary by the Director
Another Commentary by Producer and Stunt Director
Storyboard Overlay
45 minute "Secrets of 007" (I looks like the same one from TV a while back)
Sheryl Crow music video
FX reel on how they did some of the stunts
A music only audio track and interview with composer (kinda cool)
12 page booklet
and of course the 2 trailers

I dunno gang. For $9.99 - coupon + s/h = ~$4, the non-SE can't be beat. You really only watch the special features only once, so the movie itself is the key. For ~$10-15 more, is the SE really worth it?

I own the Tomorrow Never Dies: Special Edition, and I must say that I agree with Crimson Dynamo. The special features are not all that great. I must say I was a tad disappointed. The multi-angle storyboards get old really fast. The "Secrets of 007" was the same as a TV special I had seen. It's decent, but not particularly good. I had already seen it and didn't feel a need to see it again. I do confess, however, that I haven't listened to the commentaries yet, except for a few minutes here and there. But unless you're a die-hard Bond fan, you should be reasonably happy with the movie-only version, especially since it probably only cost you ~$4 at Bigstar with coupon usage.

I agree with the over ratedness of special features as well. I consider myself a Bond fan (own ALL the movies on VHS except 1) and after recently watching the SE version I think I'll stick to my regular Widescreen 9.99 copy (actually a trade). After all, I don't buy movies for the extra features.
