I guess that the only other thing that I'd like to add to the discussion is that I like the way that the majority of the film takes place during the day. I think that Come Out and Play is one of the few films (the only other one that I can think of is the original version of And Soon the Darkness) to be able to pull off a growing sense of dread and unease during broad daylight.

I was under the impression they had lost the previous 2 babies by miscarriage. The LOOK he gave the old woman.
