DVD Talk review of 'All in the Family - The Complete Ninth Season'

I read Paul Mavis's DVD review of All in the Family - The Complete Ninth Season at http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=48158 and... This review is spot on. I watched the whole season but it was obvious that the show should have ended with Mike and Gloria's departure.Too many of these shows such as Happy Days and All In The Family hung on long after their core and heart were gone.

All of your rundowns of Norman Lear TV shows are well-written and insightful, Mr. Mavis, and your take on season 9 of AitF is no exception! Have you ever considered writing a book?

Hey, thanks -- that's nice!

I did write a book, but not on television....The Espionage Filmography.

No one read it.

Books are fun to write...but you can make more money at McDonalds, and that's no exaggeration when you factor in the thousands of hours of research they take. Besides, more people have read my Baby Looney Tunes Puddle Olympics review (hee hee)--every single day...than will probably ever read any book I write. And that's why my banana is sad.

Good thing DVDTalk pays me a dollar a hit for my reviews!
