DVD Talk review of 'A.I. Artificial Intelligence' (Blu-ray)

I read Jamie S. Rich's DVD review of A.I. Artificial Intelligence at http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=47044 and...I liked the ending too. It's the Jude Law stuff that I could have lived without.

Jamie, great review of "A.I." I STILL feel that it's too long by about twenty minutes and it could have been trimmed. I also feel that the sequence where they are tearing up the robots feels like it's from a low budget "Mad Max" type of movie.

There's also the issue that no one says anything when David "kills" his "brother" smashing in his face or shows concern over the level of violence he was/is capable of. While it did demonstrate "real" emotion it also demonstrated murderous violence and his creator showed NO concern over that.

It's a very good movie but certainly flawed.

David's "brother" was just another robot version of himself and considering how many robots were killed in the film it didn't seem to be that big of a deal. It did seem kind of out of character for him though.
