DVD Talk review of 'Skyline' (Blu-ray)

I read Bill Gibron's DVD review of Skyline at http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=48427 and...
I do not agree. Yes there are bits and pieces of other films in Skyline, just like 99% of all movies. The whole industry is a ripoff. The film was made on a very low budget, and it was very good. I enjoyed this film, and am looking forward to part 2. How about you making a film mr know it all dude, and we'll see how you do with the critics.

Don't we have some kind of screening process for new commenters?

Well Thomas, if you enjoyed the film, more power to you. I also enjoyed the film, but for completely different reasons (it was so incompetently made in all aspects, that it became hilarious, much like The Room).

Re: DVD Talk review of 'Skyline' (Blu-ray)

This movie received a lot of bad reviews. When I purchased it on Bluray even the sales person told me how lousy this film was. But I like the Sci Fi/ alien/ monster genre. I watched the movie expecting little and was pleasantly surprised. I found it entertaining. I liked the two main characters. I thought the special effects were excellent. The story line was compact. It didn't try to expand upon the basic premise. And the ending, though not completely up beat was unique and in some ways courageous. This film was by no means a classic. But on a scale of 1 to 10, I give it a solid 6.5.
