DVD Talk review of Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea s4 v2
I agree that the last part of season 4 sucked ,but overall it was a good series. Hard too top Basehart and Hedison for lead actors. Too many hokey monsters was the main blame for its downfall even though ABC wanted another season,Irwin Allen talked them into accepting another show. They should have stayed with the spy genre and could have given Mission Impossible and Man from U.N.C.L.E. a run for the ratings.I'm surprised the Seaview didn't spring up a few more leaks from all that gunfire inside the sub. This might be one show that looked too good for DVD. I'm glad they finished releasing the series.

From a show thats from the 60s ,it looks like it was made yesterday. I don't know how they could improve the look if it were to go on blu-ray.
