DVD Talk review of 'The Gorehouse Greats Collection'

I read Ian Jane's DVD review of The Gorehouse Greats Collection at http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=38750 and...

Actually, I felt the transfer quality was as good as you could possibly get, considering the material presented. It isn't like there's prints laying readily around for a full remaster. The fact that many of these movies are in Anamorphic widescreen is a major feat, especially coming from a low rent DVD distributor like Mill Creek.

Generally in agreement, although most of these pictures were released in previous sets from BCI, including some sets that put only one movie on each side of a disc. Continuing BCI's tradition of different prints of certain films being used in different sets (POM POM GIRLS come on down!), this set includes an awful looking print of TRIP WITH THE TEACHER, which appeared in a solid widescreen print in one of the earlier collections (can't remember which one, despite having all of these sets in my collection)
