DVD Talk review of 'Midsomer Murders: Barnaby's Casebook'

I read John Sinnott's DVD review of Midsomer Murders: Barnaby's Casebook at http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=41498 and...

I agree with everything he says about the show, which is a pure delight for anyone who loves cozies--as my wife and I do. However, there's an important caveat with this set. While the packaging allows Acorn to fit 17 discs in a tidy space, the spindles those discs sit on are dreadful. So stiff and tight that it takes pesistence and time to pry the discs off without doing damage. Does this loosen them up? Nope. Still stubbornly holding the discs when replaced. So I have taken to snipping off bits of the spindle to make future removal easier. Shame on Acorn for this potentially damaging packaging!
