DVD Talk review of 'Year One'

I read Brian Orndorf's DVD review of Year One at http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=39781 and how could anyone in their right mind find the examples of 'humor' presented here funny?? Maybe a 3 year old would laugh at someone eating poop or peeing on their own faces (guess that took some time for the crew to set up), but no one else. I am a fan of comedy films, but nothing that has come from Hollywood in the last decade has even remotely made me laugh or even sounded like it would. Where are today's Marx Brothers??

This film is as bad as Meet the Spartans.

I don't think anyone did find them funny. That's why it tanked at the box office and was ravaged by critics. I enjoyed the way Brian ended his review:

Seemingly foolproof, the picture instead buckles within minutes of commencing, leaving Ramis panicked to commit to jokes that aren't even remotely funny and moldy plotting that goes nowhere. "Year One" is an awkward bust; a raucous costume party held at a funeral. The more it sinks lowbrow to obtain laughs, the easier it is to bid adieu to Harold Ramis as a trustworthy comedic filmmaker.
