DVD Talk review of 'Iron Monkey' (Blu-ray)

I read Ian Jane's DVD review of Iron Monkey at http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=38451 and...

Sorry, I appreciate your work reviewing this title and writing it up for us all to see, but I just can't accept a "Recommended" rating.

This movie has been cut, re-edited, and not just dubbed, but rescripted into a shadow of what it was originally. The actual plot has been changed with the dubbing and subtitles. This is not just a case of the original language track not being available on the disc.

This is a "Skip it."

If movie companies won't respect us and give us the original movie, then screw them. They think us poor dumb Americans just can't done be understandin' all that complicated culture stuff?

One of the more infamous line changes (from IMDB):
For the English dub, the line, "A man should shed blood, not tears," has been changed to, "Be a man... grow up!"
