DVD Talk review of 'Wide Open: Live and More' (Blu-ray)

I read Ryan Keefer's DVD review of Wide Open: Live and More at http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=38298 and...

I'm sorry, but I have to disagree. Jason Aldean is an awesome singer, songwriter and performer. He is real, down to earth and a genuine person who loves what he does. He doesn't pretend to be anything other than what he puts out there for everyone to see. And he has a very wide fan base, from young to old. He could sing anything and make it sound good. His band is equally talented and although some of it may not sound country, it doesn't have to. There are no rules. He pulls fans from every side of the spectrum, that's one of the things people love about him. He is just getting started and will be around for a very long time. I thought the DVD was awesome, just what you'd expect at one of his concerts, a lot of energy and great music.

Huge fan from Indiana!

I'm sure he's got a reputable fan presence, and he's the one on stage and all, it just wasn't my cup of high definition tea. As one who prides himself on being eclectic in his musical likes, I'm willing to give anything a try (and I was more than willing to eat my words if I was proven wrong), but this just didn't do it for me.

Thanks for reading!
