Any Criterion Collectors In Here Who Love Japanese Cinema? I Need Some Suggestions!
I would like to know from what you have seen (and is still in print) some suggestions for some good Samurai, Yakuza/Gangster, Pink cinema from Japan. I have only seen the great films of Kurosawa and Suzuki on Criterion. I want to see more. Thanks in advance for any info, advice, suggestions.

they have to be criterion? unfortunately for them, and you (perhaps), good stuff is released elsewhere too.

Feel free to peruse my collection for ideas and if you have any specific questions ...ask away. Just keep in mind that those films listed without a rating I either have not seen or don't remember much about the title from when I originally saw it last ....
