DVD Talk review of 'Rhoda - Season One - 35th Anniversary Edition'
I read Stuart Galbraith IV's DVD review of Rhoda - Season One - 35th Anniversary Edition at http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=36977 and...
Excellent review, Stuart. What a missed opportunity for this terrific series. A big comedown for Shout! Factory on a high-profile title for vintage TV fans.
And by the way, thanks for including this: "As my colleague Paul Mavis put it, 'the key to Rhoda and Mary is: Mary is the girl you'd want to marry, but Rhoda is the girl you'd cheat with.'" Donna loved reading that. Now she's wondering what else we discuss in our emails.
Let's hope Warner Bros. sees fit to release the template all modern cop buddy movies, Freebie and the Bean, where Valerie Harper was seen to such good advantage (you would think with her own TV series, she would have shown up on the big screen more often).
