DVD Talk review of 'Abbott and Costello: The Complete Universal Pictures Collection'

I read Stuart Galbraith IV's DVD review of Abbott and Costello: The Complete Universal Pictures Collection at http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=35610 and...
Flat-out the best review of anything I've read this year (and of the one DVD title I'm most jealous of not getting, too!). You've captured exactly the appeal of this enduring comedy team in your thorough, beautifully written piece. Here's to all those Sunday mornings, all those years ago, with WXYZ-Detroit's The Abbott & Costello Movie, Stuart.

Third base!

(Just when I had convinced myself I didn't have to get this set right away...)

In the words of Bert Lahr,

Shucks folks, I'm speechless.

Picked this up during the DD 25% sale and upon arrival the wife immediately snatched it up and wrapped it. This review's got me itching to search through the closets like a little kid looking for the Christmas presents!

I don't know how good the price for this box was during DD's sale, but it's pretty good right now--over 50% off.

That's better than the 25% sale! Looks like I overpaid by 6 bucks.

Curses ... me too!

Though I just bought 1 copy as a gift for dad. And I've had it sitting around my house, tempting to buy my dad some underwear or golf balls and keep the thing for myself. But maybe I'll pick one up for myself now.
