DVD Talk review of 'Get Smart: Two-Disc Special Edition'

I read Thomas Spurlin's DVD review of Get Smart: Two-Disc Special Edition at http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=35313 and...

I have to agree with the reviewers comparison of Scott and Andy being meshed into Carell's Smart. But, I would go one step further. It seems to me that this version of Smart is in effect Michael Scott, living out one of his fantasies. He plays it so close to Scott pretending to be a spy, coming out with great results.

See, I'd agree with you -- except I kept having the thought of how Michael conducted himself at the improv class as Det. Michael Scarn. BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

Carrell was the best actor they could have picked for the role. He is one of the funniest guys out there today part from Seth Rogen and a few others.
