DVD Talk review of 'Reaper: Season 1'

I read Don Houston's DVD review of Reaper: Season 1 at http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=35236 and...

I think it's a pretty accurate assessment of the series, although I do have one problem and it is simply this: Tyler Labine's character is known as SOCK!! NOT SOCKS!! That's 'Sock' in the singular, not plural! I've watched the series religiously, and at no time whatsoever is he referred to as 'Socks'. 'Socks' is the name of Bill Clinton's cat, NOT Tyler Labine's character.

That's pretty funny given the subject matter...Thanks for the overreaction though.

Hey! The only member of the Clinton Adminstration I liked!

(come on, don't get sore -- that's for all the angry, forgotten Hillary voters out there).

Ok, who let the cat call a press conference?

I hope you guys aren't suggesting I was calling the hilarious character of "Sock" (happy now?) a "pussy".

As I recall, that's been implied many times on the show. REAPER is another sleeper like SUPERNATURAL was when it started: it's a lot better than you think it will be.

I agree that it's a lot better than I thought it would be going into it last fall. Whenever it starts up again, I hope they don't "jump the shark" too quickly.

As far as Sock being a pussy, he helped confront the lost souls too many times to earn that designation. He was immoral, self serving, and hilariously childish but not a pussy (other than Ray Wise as the Devil, Tyler Labine as Sock was my favorite, indispensable character).
