DVD Talk review of 'The Three Stooges Collection - Volume Four: 1943-1945'

I read Paul Mavis's DVD review of The Three Stooges Collection - Volume Four: 1943-1945 at http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=34975 and...

It's a very deep and well-thought out review. Thanks, Paul Mavis. Although I have to comment on that so-called "edited" scene from "They Stooge To Conga". The few frames missing from that one segment you pointed out was probably just a small case of poor editing. This happens all the time, considering the Stooges shorts were produced so quickly.

Hey, thanks!

Actually, though, those missing frames come right in the middle of a single-shot action -- it's not an "edit" as in linking two separate shots that may have happened during a hasty post-production edit. It's clearly a few frames "missing" in the motion of Moe hitting Curly; his arm "jumps" and then the hammer is suddenly in Curly's mouth -- all in one shot.
