DVD Talk review of 'The Bucket List'
I read Jeffrey Kauffman's DVD review of The Bucket List at http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=33519 and...
I saw the DVD last night. I'd never heard of it and if you read the back of the box your first thought is "oh, no, I'm not in the mood for THAT kind of movie", but it's NOT that kind of movie. It's NOT a Terms of Endearment. The sad parts and dying stuff are not there to inflict torture, it's a growth movie even though the characters are running short of growing time. I loved it and it's at the top of my Christmas want list.
My favorite line from the film:
Edward Cole: Here's something to remember when you're older Thomas - never pass up a bathroom, never waste a hard-on, and never trust a fart.
Good review, Jeffrey! And refreshing that you actually reviewed the movie and didn't make it about yourself...
