Mercy Mission - August 28th, 2007
 

Great little tv gem based on actual events, starring Scott Bakula as the pilot of a single engine airplane which gets lost over the ocean in the blackness of night. He gets help from a jet airliner pilot (Robert Loggia) who tries to locate and direct him to safety even though he has a plane full of passengers. It's a 2 disc set combined with "Nowhere to Land" which is another airplane disaster movie (it was the in-flight movie on my way to Australia, just kidding).

Amazon lists it as 'widescreen' but it is a few years old and that kind of surprises me for a tv movie??? I'll be very happy if it is widescreen.

Anyways, I highly recommend it. It's very well done for a television production.
