DVD Talk review of 'Showgirls - Fully Exposed Edition'
I read DVD Savant's DVD review of Showgirls - Fully Exposed Edition at http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=29619 and...
The reviewer disliked most everything about this movie and yet he still recommends it. Not even a so-bad-it's-good sort of way. I'm confused.

Hello big whoppa ... a fair question, I guess ...
I figure anybody interested in SHOWGIRLS isn't going to let my demoralized opinion of it get in their way. The 'rating' is to let people know that it's a good value.
In the review I say that the disc is worthwhile because of the extras. The movie gripes me but I found the commentary and trivia track a lot of fun. I recommend many 'bad' movies, especially monster movies I'm fond of, and it would be hypocritical to discriminate!
My blanket answer is that I hate blanket ratings. What I have to say is in the review, in English!
Cheers, Glenn Erickson

Thanks for the reply, Glenn. I understand what you mean, I think. But I feel you're entitled to tell people to 'Rent it' if you personally didn't care much for the movie itself. Just a thought.
