DVD Talk review of 'Doctor Who - The Invasion'

I read Stuart Galbraith IV's DVD review of Doctor Who - The Invasion at http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=28613 and...

You've got it wrong about the footage -- the surviving six episodes are all sourced from 16mm kinescopes, or what the British call telerecordings. The story as broadcast was a mixture of location film inserts and interior videotape (in this case, PAL monochrome). The studio sequences have been processed to look like videotape again by a process called VidFIRE.
