DVD Talk review of 'Blissfully Yours'
 

I read Gerry Putzer's DVD review of Blissfully Yours at http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=27942 and believe there are a couple of points in the review that should be corrected: the Strand disc is non-anamorphic (and interlaced), not 16x9 as stated. Also, from what I understand this is still partially censored/edited despite Weerasethakul saying otherwise in the introduction.

I have to weigh in on this, as well, as other sources/reviewers have indicated that this DVD is sorely lacking. As noted by Cosmic Bus, the transfer is not 16x9 enhanced. More importantly, the film has been censored to remove several explicit scenes. According to DVD Beaver, as much as 6-8 minutes have been cut.

In short, this DVD should not be recommended, and I'm very surprised that it has been by DVD TALK.
