Help me find a "Grindhouse" style movie

With the (somewhat) success of Grindhouse (at least amongst fans of the genre) comes an interest in similar films.

A customer asked me about finding a movie, but she wasn't able to give a lot of details. The genre isn't one of my stronger points, so I wasn't of any help. Here's what she was able to give me:

It's sort of related to the Rob Zombie trailer in Grindhouse, Wolfwomen of the SS. She said that Sheri Moon-Zombie is dressed up like the main actress of the movie. The movie name is the main female character's name, it's 4 letters (maybe 5), and begins with an I.

If anyone can give me any further info, along with availability (or future availability if it's not out already) on DVD, it'd be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Ilsa: She Wolf of the SS. It was a series of 4 films. Anchor Bay put out a box set of three of them.

question - so is/was there a domestic (region 1) release of ILSA, THE WICKED WARDEN? (the only film not included in the Ilsa Box set).

My guess is she wouldn't have liked it anyway. It's an actual grindhouse movie, not really the safe, "campy fun" kind of thing she was probably expecting. The title sounds funny, but it's pretty violent and gory, with lots of hairy 70s sex.

I dunno, she likes some pretty messed up stuff. She has the Jodorowsky box set on order from me.

Since the Anchor Bay trilogy is OOP. I would've hoped that there would've been a re-release in the wake of Werewolf/SS. Is there still hope?

Also Pam Grier 1970's movies except FRIDAY FOSTER, because I believe she does not have a nude scene in that one.

Incorrect. Shower scene!

Sheba Baby was her only PG-rated movie during that era

I think you mean ILSA, TIGRESS OF SIBERIA (and I don't think that one received an official domestic release). ILSA THE WICKED WARDEN was released by Anchor Bay and is a part of the boxset (although it wasn't officially an Ilsa film, just a similar Dyanne Thorne film that was retitled to take advantage of the Ilsa films' success. That's a very "grindhouse" thing they did right there )

At any rate, these films have always been guilty pleasures of mine, and the Anchor Bay discs look great.

Single but not looking, though. Seems to be happy with it just being her and her kid.

The Ginger Trilogy might be up your alley.

Cheap production values and lousy acting. But lots of nudity and light S&M scenes.

GINGER Trilogy
Ginger
The Abductors
Girls Are For Loving

Not sure if they're in print but they are on Netflix.

Ginger made me nauseous for some reason. Just didn't like it at all. But I had a great, sleazy time with Abductors. Haven't seen the 3rd one yet. Thoughts?
