DVD Talk review of 'Re-Animator (Anchor Bay)'

I read Ian Jane's DVD review of Re-Animator (Anchor Bay) at http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=26976 and...what is this "nifty" packaging you speak of Ian?

Scott, it's covered in the extras section. In short, the keepcase comes inside a cardboard box with a clear window underneath which is a syringe pen - the package gives the illusion that the drawing of Combs on the front is holding it in his hand.

Man, I'm really on the fence about double dipping on this. It pretty much amounts to $15 for a 70-minute documentary and a cool-looking pen. But I'm a sucker for this movie, and the documentary sounds good.

Could you (or anyone else who got this early) give a little more info on the documentary? How much new information not already covered in the other features and commentaries does it have?

If you've heard the commentaries you're not going to learn a whole lot more from the new doc, but there are bits and pieces and there are a few people in the doc who aren't on either commentary - Ahlburg for example. I can't honestly say if you have the Millennium edition from Elite that you need this version, but the documentary is quite interesting, and the syringe-pen is neat. It might be one you want to wait to pick up during a deepdiscount sale or something like that.

I'm a Re-Animator nut, so I pre-ordered this from DVDPlanet and I got a lovely shipping confirmation today! I could feasibly get it before the release date!
