DVD Talk review of 'Crimson Tide: Unrated Extended Edition'
I have read Scott Weinberg's review of Crimson Tide: Unrated Extended Edition and...
I wanted to comment on the poor, poor video quality of this DVD. The opening credits over the first part of the movie looked like it had a Dune-esqe shield around it. The force was strong with this one! I really wish studios wouldn't crank up edge enhancement like that, it really shows on a large projection screen.
As a side comment, I really loathe the DVD and "in theaters now" trailers on DVD's. There were somewhere around 7-8 of them in front of this movie, thankfully I was able to zip through them with the chapter (>>|) type button.
