Best Dick Van Dyke Season to Start With?

Most great TV shows have a period where they're still finding its niche, fully fleshing out the characters and eventually churning out an relatively entire season of gold. I'm looking for that particular one for this set. A solid season, not just one that's shakey but has a bunch of memorable episodes (Like Seinfeld Season 3 have a lot of memorable ones, but 4 being where they really got the humor down pat). So, can anyone help?

Oh, another question, where's the best price for these?

Every season of this show is gold. It started great and went out great. 90% of the episodes are fantastic, the rest are just great. Not a one is to be missed. You may get reccomendations for certain seasons because of famous episodes in that season, but the famous eps. are spread out among all five seasons. Also, the famous episodes are just famous, not better. Just about every episode is as good, and some even funnier than the famous ones. Get them all. You can't go wrong with this one.

Online, just shy of $50 each.

If you think you might want more than 3 of the 5 seasons, DVD Empire has the complete series for $165.

The Dick Van Dyke Show, as already been said, has had five terrific seasons. I'd say just start at season one and work your way up. You won't be disappointed.
