Um... boned?

If you mean Beyond, why not just read DVDTalk's review? Oh, and if you want to still ask, ask in the correct place (reviews, recommendations).

I have quite a few of the single disc Batman Beyond DVDs and they were all great - if you liked Batman: TAS, I would imagine you'll love Batman Beyond.

There's no Season 1 review though here on DVDTalk (yet?).

We didn't get any screeners for Batman Beyond or Justice League (at least not yet).

Both of these are from the World's Finest site, a great place to get any info on DC/WB animated shows....

Didn't know justice league was all digital-- can't say I like the look of that show at all for some reason.

I think you missunderstood that part of the review, as Justice League is far from "all digital". The opening title/credits sequence is, and there are some backgrounds and other aspects that mix standard animation with digital, but that's about it. The rest is no different from say the 4th season of Batman:TAS or any of the seasons of Superman:TAS.

Anyway, it's all great stuff, and well worth seeing.

Great review.

I never had Cartoon Network so i am just now seeing Justice League for the first time. I thought season 1 of Justice League was great, so if that considered a weak start then I guess I am in for a treat when I get to see the future seasons.

Thanks for the kind words!

Oh, and I meant "digital" in the sense of "digital ink and paint", which Justice League did use in its first season.

Did Justice League change in the second season? The "digital ink and paint" is a bit distracting mixed with the traditional style of Batman: TAS or Superman: TAS.

Also, other than it being split in two parts, is "Rebirth" pts 1 & 2 any different than the Batman Beyond Movie? I'm not sure if I should sell it when I get Season 1.

I agree that Season 1 of Justice League wasn't all that bad - but yes, future seasons are even better, especially when the show becomes Justice League Unlimited. Expect Season 2 of JL in June, and from what I've read, Season 3 and JLU (season 4 overall, 1st of JLU) will both be out by the fourth quarter.

No differences that I could tell.
