OUTLAW BROTHERS by HKL. Great interviews!

First of all, I had not seen this one since 92 or 93. It's so silly and perpostrous, but so much fun at the same time. The transfer looks zoomed in. You can see this during the opening credits. But it's not ever a problem.

I enjoyed watching the film and was thankful the soundtrack seemed real and not like a fake remix. HKL's 5.1 track for Millionare's Express was horrid, while the original soundtrack was fine. Actually, I think the soundtrack for this DVD was 2.0 surround. So no wonder it didn't sound like sh!t.

Besides trailers there are essentially two extras. An interview with Yukari Oshima and an interview with Vincent Lyn. Both interviews a wonderful to watch. Yukari still looks good and gives good insight to her career, how she got started and what it was like working with men so much larger than her.

But it is the Vincent Lyn interview that really stands out. First of all, he looks so yummy. Move aside Clive Owen! (sorry, guys. but a lady can lust too) He starts by telling this hilarious story about all the chickens used during the finale. Lyn is so animated that he really makes the story fun. He goes on to talk about how he got his start and why he left the industry. This is a great interview. After watching it I found his website online at vincentlyn.com.

By the way, if you are wondering who Lyn is, who always played the bad foreigner. His biggest role was as the scarred villain who fights Jackie Chan in the wind tunnel at the end of OPERATION CONDOR.

So check it out and enjoy!
